BB Ford Starter
Most of you guys from the old site use to talk about a BBF 460 starter that you could get off eBay and it was the best starter for high compression motors.
Anybody remember a part number or where I can buy it at??
is this it http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/FORD-E-SERIES-VAN-STARTER-7-5L-460CID-92-93-94-95-96-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQfitsZMakeQ3aFordQ7cYearQ3a1992QQhashZitem1e5f576336QQitemZ130448581430QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories
Thanks

Thanks
Lem always talked about the stock ford starter that would go on any 1990's etc trucks (superduty 460).
Worked great for high compression engines, plus if it takes a shit, autozone, checker, any auto part stores will have one for ya'.

Not sure about it being the best but it is a bargain and I have been using one for a couple of years and have had no problems. I don't have a high compression motor though.

The stock gear reduction units work good. Cheap and plentiful at any parts house.

Get er done "D".
When you planning on it running and able to do some 1/4 mile burns? This spring? Is so maybe we can meet up at a track and have some fun with our cars. We ought to try to get some of the MI members on here for a reunion at one of the smaller tracks
