Turkey day throw down

So last night i made a brine and soaked the turkey in it for 8 hrs , cleaned the bird off and stuffed it with some goodies ...pics to follow ..
got to go and pour a glass of whiskey

so i put the bird back into the fridge for another hour and will pat it dry again and place some canola oil the skin

so know i will start on the home made dressing , here are some of the ingredients

also making my home made gray with turkey stock, evoo, and garlic





oh and ck out my new bars ...thxs Chris

started the shrooms .... tossed them in olive oil , salt, pepper, and fresh oregano

heated up the pork, rosemary, garlic and prousutto in olive oild and mixed all the ingrediants added locadelli and romano freshley grated .......they are ready for the oven .......damn have no room , gonna go next door to borrow the oven

not really brother...crock pot roast, sweat potatoes, mashed potatoes, green beans, and deviled eggs...this ones all you hands down. and when push comes to shove, probably always will be... anyway enjoy that feast, and time with the family, because the rat race starts all over again Monday...

lets talk about whiskey ........ i bought this run of jack daniels called gentlemens jack ...and it sucks ...its almost like candy , i cant stop drinking it

Yep the rat race is never over, I'll probably be pulling out of the driveway tonight with the semi.

upon further inspection of this thread I have come to the conclusion:...bruno is one hell of a REAL cook....wow.

shrooms are done and they are delicious ...... the only thing i dont like is that the prosutto is a little on the crispy side ...

oh and the only reason why i did stuffed mushrooms was because i heard my neighbor was doing them "Bobby" so we had a mushroom throwdown .... and his was awesome too ...... different flavor but very tender and flavorfull..... great job Bobby
