I am working on a set of dove heads for a 466 I am piecing together. More than likley I will be using a comp cams 306s (solid flat tappet) cam, but I would want to later upgrade to a comp cam xr292R rolller in the future.

Re: ferrea valves
You won't find a better valve than Ferrea. I have seem a slightly better flow number useing Manley valves (mainly due to there smaller undercut stem diameter), but have never had a problem with Ferrea valves. If you plan on upgrading to a roller at a later date, spend a little extra and get the Competition Plus valves.

They make good valves, just make sure you pick the appropriate series for the application.

Re: ferrea valves
As has been said already, the FRPP 2.250" intake valves which Lem has for sale is a better deal all the way around.
I use them with the S.I #6003SG exhaust valve all the time. That similar exhaust valve from Ferrea is #F6258; (it's 1.760" diameter is .010" smaller and has less of a tulip backside).
