I am downright shocked that this block is still available!

Those american-made main caps cost $375 + installation, which means that the 3 center billet caps plus installation cost approx $750, which is more than the asking price for the entire engine block. At 0.030" overbore, my experience tells me that it has at least 3 overbores remaining (potentially ten-plus years of high performance service remaining) for most naturally aspirated combos, passenger side lifter bore bushing is done (a high performance oil modification/driver's side bushing is not necessary or part of the mod), inspected by a shop and given a clean bill of health.

If one were to prep a D0VE-A block like this one, the costs could be as follows:

• D0VE block: $300
  
• Clean & Mag Check: $125
  
• Programm SCJ Billet Main Caps: $375
  
• Align bore/Align Hone: $350
  
• Lifter Bore Bushings: $300
  
• Oil Pan Stud Kit: $25
  
• Good 0.030" Overbore: $250 (pro-rated due to use)
  
• Total: $1725

He only wants $600! The only reason I don't jump on this myself is because we have more 4-bolted blocks in our inventory that we currently need. Incidentally, we will be listing one soon, but rest assured we'll be asking almost twice the asking price of this one because it will be worth every penny.

I know times are tough and we all can't afford everything out there, but this is the kind of deal that most can't afford to not pass up, just because it is such a good one.

Mark, where did you get the block shipped to? I was eyeballing this ad, and thinking if I had a place next to the border to ship to, I would sure buy it! Hell of a deal!!
