533 BBF for sale Albany KY 42602

Hey guys things are getting tight and need to free up some cash. So gonna list my engine for sale from my 1970 mustang. The engine will stay in the car until it sells incase someone wants to come and hear it run. I'm not sure what to price this thing at as I have alot of money in it. So to some of the senior guys on the forum constructive criticism is welcome. If things loosen up I'll keep her. If not maybe things will come back around in a year or so and I can put together the 557 a-head motor that I have always wanted in this car.

I would prefer pickup on this motor as I don't really have means to ship. I would be willing to meet within a reasonable driving distance to do the transaction. WIll accept Cash. Other funds will have to clear before releasing motor.

Motor has been together about 5yrs but mostly been sitting in car waiting the rest of the car to get ready to go. Has run 6.52 in 1/8 mile with bad track conditions. Approx 15-20 passes down the track. I feel this motor has a lot more to offer with proper tune and maybe a bit more cam.

I'll include the 2" coated headers. They come with a standard set of collectors that are coated and never been installed.

Will take partial trades on:
a set of New Trick Flow new style A-460 heads in BBF bolt pattern.

Or eliminator BBF HP Billet or Hp Sportsman new blocks.

Things not included: Carb, Motor plate, plug wires, water neck, vac excape, valve cover breather (but have a motorsports crome vent to replace it), radiator hoses, fuel lines, starter, alternator, crank pulley

I'm sure there are things that I'm missing something.

Jason,the new A460 heads ONLY come w/BBC ex. port design. Nice car and engine by the way.

I know, thats why I'm letting the headers go for that price. If it sells and when I get stationed back home I'm gonna build a 557 ahead engine, all new setup with about a 12-12.5 comp with a few speced parts from Lem and Charlie.
