Hello from Mt. Rushmore

I am Doug Schwenn from Hermosa South Dakota. I have a competition pulling truck with a 460 in it. I never would have been able to build it without the help of the people from the old 460 Ford site who have moved over here now. Thankyou for the help and the new site. I work for an independand telephone company in Keystone SD only 2 miles from Mt. Rushmore and love working there. I retired from Qwest in Colorado with 30 years and loved that job also except for the politics. Here are a couple pics of my truck.

Welcome Doug. I've seen pix of your truck doing searches on the net and love it. The boys over at www.slick60s.com have a pix or 2 of it on that site. I would like to invite you to stop by and join the group also.

Welcome aboard. We did a trip right through there this summer and stayed a few days. Mt Rushmore is definitely pretty cool if you have never been.

lol i went right through hermosa about 10 times on the fourth of july weekend as i have a niece and nephew in hot springs and an aunt and uncle in rapid and we went back and forth between rapid and h springs atleast twice a day it seemed for the whole weekend on highway 79 i believe it was? I also have an aunt and uncle in winner sd if you know where that is lol.

Yep: I live only 1 mile to the west of Hwy. 79 on Hwy.36 towards Custer State Park. I know where Winner SD is, never been there. I will look on the internet for any pulls in N.D., might be kind of fun. Let me know next time you come down, I know a good Pizza place here in Hermosa.
