Sounds like someone ain't getting any at home (gifts that is) I don't care about getting gifts that much, I am not a greedy person. Like you said though, big commercial $$$$$$, that's what its become. Its worse every year, or I'm just seeing more of it. Dang coporations!

Yes, because you get gifts and don't have to buy any. Not as fun and exciting as it used to be, same with birthdays and this and that. When your a kid, your greedy and like getting stuff.

Dangit! I ain't retyping that shyite...I don't even have cable, tv is just plugged in. Have to cut costs, so I got no speed tv or nothin. You could have 13 channels or 500 channels and theres STILL nothing to watch!!!

That is the reason I ask us to remember the real reason for Christmas the Birth of Jesus Christ not the coporations sale gemics for $$$$$$$$$$$$
Sorry if this offens anyone who don't believe in Christmas just want the ones who believe in Christmas to remember the real reason.

Wife works in a jewelry store, she works longggg hours this time of year, just never has had the feeling it used to.


One day she can quit and the only thing I ask is she does it 2 days before Xmas and that I can be there to see the look on the faces.....................

Jim, I agree and think all of us (who believe in Christmas, and I don't mean the santa stuff) need to remember Christmases true meaning. I think everyone has forgotten about it and just wants to think about the "giving gifts" end of it. Especially kids!!!! But not me...Its more than just a day to get presents from people, but that's what it seems to be for everyone else nowadays.

We were really poor when I was a kid and did'nt have money for presents so my mom/dad always taught us how giving was the Christmas spirit. So Christmas is more fun for me now than when I was a child. I love seeing my gran kids open their gifts around Christmas. Merry CHRIStmas to all

I agree with several people! I am not religious, I do believe in God!!! I believe what Christmas has became is all a big gimmick, I hate buying gifts/wasting my hard earned cash for people( adults ) who don't believe in or respect the gift that is bought/made for them! Kids on the other hand, 9 times out of 10 what you buy them...they will destroy of lose in the first few days/weeks...lol...they just don't make toys like they use to! But its the thought that counts!...My niece just said to me...I don't want anything for Christmas!....I was like WHY??? she said she doe not have any money to get me anything! ....I told her ...well your are still in school and have no job, I did not expect any thing from her!

I work with people from around the world, Muslims, Hindus, Buddists, Ect. and so far today I have been wished a Merry Christmas and Happy new year by all of them and everyone of them has accepted my best wishes back with a smile and alot of kindness...........
