I just hate using mineral spirits................. I would like to use something else if I could find something that would clean as good.

Is it the smell, the chemical exposure to your hands or what? Migranes run in my family so I get headaches easily, if its bad and I'm at home I put a pain resperator on and I don't smell it. Bad for your brain too, get you high real fast drunken Laughing What about thinner? Diesel fuel?

I buy the stuff the local Carquest auto parts store sells. Comes in a 5 gallon pail, works good and doesn't completely kill your hands. I don't remember what it's called, I just tell them I need some more parts cleaner....

I probably will use Naptha, I am going to put a filter cartridge on it to help keep it clean.

I had used Varsol in the past and liked it , but couldn't remember the name of it. Old timers disease I guess. Rolling Eyes

Thanks for the help guys.............. Cool
