1st and only time run. I broke 2 rocker shaft bolt on my 390. My dad got the broken pieces out why'll I ran to home depot to get new grade 8 bolts and i still made it to first run. You can hear it break right before the finish line.

Here is a video from Friday night. It's the fastest pass so far with this motor. 11.22@119. Also I had the camera mounted in a different location which I found I didn't like and that why i change it for Saturday's race.

Yeah up higher like the videos in post #1 are much better.

What do you 60' with the glide, and do you know how much hp the 390 is making? I always thought you wouldn't want to use a glide unless you were at least 600+ hp at 3000lbs or lighter. The glide has to be really consistent though, as you made it through 6 rounds.

Back when the 390 was only going 11.50's with the glide. The glide was 3 tenths quicker with the glide than when the C6 was in there and that was with only 400hp. If I had the right converter I think it would pick this motor up another 10 tenth.

Thats great to hear as I was a litte concerned about loosing a gear with my combo--(924hp @ 3350lbs)--but based on your experience, I should easily be quicker with a PG vs the C6. I would imagine the weight difference and the efficiency of the trans makes up for 1 less gear.

Next week. 2 1/4 primary pipe to a 2 3/8 step to at 4 1/2 collector. I can't do them myself as I do not know how to tig weld.
