Dan, It is powdercoated. Matches the natural aluminum color fairly well.
Fabio, if it don't run good it's the cam's fault.

I'm sending it to rehab. Do you recall what length pushrods you ended up with. I did some checking with the Kaase pushrods I have and they seem to be a tad bit too short. They want to hog to upper half of the valve stem during a full sweep across.

P51s. I'm going to make an adjustable one today and check proper length. Just curios as what others have found for correct length to see if my measurements are in the ballpark.

That's where it was supposed to go. But the car still needs some chassis work. So it'll pull piperack duty until further notice.

Re: It's almost done...
Thanks Jon. I stuck the 9.05 pushrod on the intake side and the sweep across the valve looks alot better, but it's still slightly keeping to the top side of the valve stem. The 9.1 on the intake might be the ticket I need. I'll check it with the adjustable one though to be sure.

Re: It's almost done...
The car is a dusty heap sitting in my friend's garage... The dragster is getting close. Once the engine is stuck in the rails all I need is a trans, converter, cooler and delay box.. Parachute might help too. It'll get done first and we plan to bring it to the Bash this year. The Mustang needs the engine/trans plates and driveline angle nailed down, a few more bars, sheetmetal, plumbed, wired, etc... It's the yearlong project again... I've made no progress on the Mustang in the past year due to the divorce sutuation. I have however made progress on the engine so there is a bright side to it all...!

Re: It's almost done...
I'll take some tonight. It's Mike Steven's old white dragster. Not sure if you knew that. We haven't done much to it yet besides buy some rear wheels and tires for it. Gonna take off his old stickers and then get the car wrapped with my friend's company logo. He's going to sort of sponsor it. It's my drivetrain in it, he owns the car, it lives at his house and we plan to have his wife drive it so it works out for both of us.
