So as some know already I've still got a battle with cancer but I've decided I'm going to keep hacking away at my mustang.

I'm wanting to build an engine with 500+ cubes using my iron heads and pump gas. Engines going to be mated up to a C-6 and have 3.73 gears out back.

I was thinking for quite some time about where a wanted the powerband at. I'd like it to make good strong power all the way from 1500-6500 rpms.

What can I do for this?

I was thinking a 528 would be good for this build with about 9.5-9.8:1 compression to run 93 ethanol gas. Maybe the new mafia intake with a decent 1050 up top. Solid roller cam on a 110 lobe angle with a 255-265 duration in/ex with about .680 lift intake and 710 exhaust.

Does this sound like a good strong running street build?

I could go bigger cubes to about 552-557. Not afraid of more cam and a bit more compression. I really want to stick with my iron heads to make it look not quite as powerful and because I already have my set worked over pretty well.
