MSD 6AL 2 6530
Anyone used one of these 6530's?

I've got the same one minus the pc programmable feature. It seems to work fine for me. I only went w. it cause i liked the compact intergration of the 2step, rev limiter and regular ignition box all in one.
For a serious racer a digital 7 may be better though.

I don't know how much more you can do with the legal Dig 7TC unit. Can't run the one with slew adjustments. I dont need nos or boost retards, and the 6530 is $300 vs 700

If you already have an msd box you can get the two step and just plug it in where the rev limiter would normally go.

I already have a 2 step, I was wanting to be able to adjust the timing down track. Been doing a little research and one guy on YB said "This thing is like a cheap 7531, only without the datalogging. "
I was just wanted some feedback from the BBF guys on it if they have tried it.

I actually bought mine for the rev limiter/two step combo w/o realizing there was another version that had the programable feature.....in hind sight, i wish i had that feature!
