Jay Allen ?????

I hear Jay Allen or camshaft innovations is no longer designing custom cams. what is the low down?

Coug aint gonna know what to fo now............

I've heard a lot of things have happened since last year about health problems. But have also heard that was just a front. Even Billy Glidden comented on Yellow Bullet that he's prety much burned tie's with everbody. He's in some other kind of business doing DJ work and has just tried to fall off the face of the racing scene. Seem pretty hard for some one that was so argumentive when he think he's GOD of everthing when it comes to enginges. I will say he pretty smart but he has short man sindrome....

So I would never try and sell one of his cams becasue it aint worth shit. Last I have no Idea what kind (Brand) of springs that are in my Small block motor.

i know for a fact there are several guys from this forum that can give you the low down

I'd heard that Jay and Coug were pretty tight. I'm guessing that Jay's demeanor was the end cause of this. He was not a personable guy from what I gathered.

I agree with Ace, and Rob. I've talked several people that have had him do camshafts for them, with less than stellar results. I don't know the guy, and from what rumorville says, don't really care to. As far as he was concerned, there was only one guy in the country that could do cams, and he was it. What a charmer he was too I heard.

Even a broken clock is right twice a day and a blind squirel does find an acorn ... "One doest thou protest to much", nuff said.

never did care for him from day one on woody's forum . the best one over on sbfteck was when he was asked -- why do i have to pay for a cam doctor , when i'm paying for a quality cam to those specs . that guy didn't go over big with him . one more dude that I'll never miss

That qoute may have been ME... I asked the same thing and boy did he blow up. I just figure that he should pay it because His company or Comp was grinding the cam.

I was just reading about him Friday and thats why I made This post! I was one that got suckerded and bought one of his cams I plan on changing my cam after this season. I miss Reed Cams!

I've been thinking about taking the 3/4 series out of LiL Tweety and going w/FULL race series. Do ya think Albert would be up too the task

I don't think you have enough ground clearance for the full race cam, put that crooked one in Jake gave you.
