2011 BBF Bash Live Stream? - Can't make it...

2011 BBF Bash Live Stream?

I’m working on trying to get a Live Stream at the BBF Bash. I have a Jtv Live Stream account and we tested it with Alex’s Android phone last night and it looked pretty good.

I may be able to setup a better stream with my video camera but I would need a laptop that has a wireless card. Anyone have one we can “borrow” for the weekend? Friday and Saturday of the BBF Bash.

I’m going to do some testing this weekend with my work laptop and/or my home PC if it has the correct firewire connection.

imma talk to the video dudes tonight and will keep you guys posted. I think a live stream would be wonderful for those that can't attend. Plus after the live stream is finished, it will post to my Jtv account as a past broadcast and anyone can go back and watch the broadcast at their leisure. It highlights in 2 hour increments.

If anyone wants to see something funny, go to my videos and watch the one about the rager (I think it's on page 2), it's pretty funny!

A live broadcast would be pretty cool. I hope it works.

I will be watching this closely.

I have a laptop that should hook up to your camera with an HDMI cord. You are welcome to use it. Is there WiFi at the track, or do you need a WiFi card in the laptop?

I don't think there is wifi at the track so the laptop would need a wireless card thingy. I have a 4 pin to 4 pin firewire, I'll do some testing with it this weekend.

I'll see if I can round up a WiFi card for the laptop.

As long as we have any windows log in information, we should be good. I'll confirm the operation this weekend and we can go from there. If you both want to bring them,then we would have a back up unit and another option to spam all the people that couldn't make it, via this forum

Let’s all just slow down a little….Are we sure we want folks to see “behind the curtain”. If the condition known as the “Strawberry Haze” was to make it on to the internet, untold damage to reputations could occur. I’m not worried about myself, but some of you boys and girls just can’t hang……
Again, I am in no way worried about myself, I’m just thinking of others. I think it bears repeating……..Don’t think for a minute that I’m concerned with myself overdoing it and ending up on a video. Just being considerate of my friends.

It will be a live stream of the race track, in a set position. Most likely from the tower but I'll need to clear that with Phillip.

Now Damon, we can't be drawing pictures and such on people that are passed out though, last time I had something to do with that, I was taken behind the woodshed and given a good lashing for such bad behavior. Only good clean fun this time, unless it's Freeloader, then we can decorate all we want.
