Before my grandfather passed away he gave my little brother his 84 Bronco 4x4. The truck was born with a 302/c6, the 302 9s dead, oil pump went out while my brother was off-roading and after it got back home the engine was used for parts for various other things we've had. I would like to get the truck from my brother and stuff a 460 in it and take it off-roading once more (grandpa only used it as a commuter to and from work). Any additional info and help I can get from everyone here would be great since I don;t know much about the Ford trucks (I focused on Torinos and Rancheros).

Pretty easy swap there Matt. All you need to do is get the engine and frame mounts for a 460 from an F250. Find a 4x4 C6 for a big block and bolt it all together. Very Happy There is a thread in the truck section of a guy doing that exact swap right now into a Bronco with an EFI setup. The older Bronco with carb would be a lot easier.
