SBF heads needed for 302 street motor Empty 302 heads

Post  bowsher21 March 8th 2011, 8:45 pm

I have a set of 302 heads fresh from machine shop. Valve job, seals, non stock springs (from hydro perf street cam), ex port gasket matched and hump removed. Intake ports gasket matched for the first 3/4" into port then just touched up any flashing. Face resurfaced. Stock rockers. Fresh Ford Blue. Ready to install.
In 1979 I bought and I personally pulled the 302 out of a 1968 Shelby that these heads were on. I don't believe they were special that year and don't know how to verify, just thought you might like to know.
Asking $600 delivered to 48USA. Pictures wanted? Send me your email

Really lookin for a gt-40 head(explorer) iron. he has a super strict budget.....just looking for 275-300hp, I think some gt40's and a upgraded hyro roller will get him close. I'm going to do a stock rebuild bottom end with just an upgraded head/cam/header combo so it should get him close. I'll b in touch Rick Very Happy

Thanks Coug. The P heads will be ok too. I think I'm headed to the salvage yards today.

P's work great for a factory Iron head. Just Check header to Plug Clearance, some headers get a little too tight because of the plug position on the P's.
