Re: Columbus NMRA and Damon
Hold on there now,Damon might be down , but he's not dead yet, He called earlier in the day and I did'nt get the message until I got done w/mowing. Called him back, and I took the converter out of LiL Tweety and called a Chevy racer buddy of mine , and he had a new Neil Chance in the box. So we headed to Columbus. When we got there Damon and BAD LUCK CHUCK (has anyone noticed where chuck is, bad luck follows ) had his out . We did'nt get to stay and chat long because I had to go straight to work. So lets say a prayer and keep our fingers and toes crossed one of the converters work.

Re: Columbus NMRA and Damon
Not so great of news for Damon Guy's, neither converter would fit up right to Damon's combo. So his car is in the Trailer. Hopefully TINY little Chuck or Tore can get it done Tomorrow.Tore went out in second round today, his car was nosediving in high gear, don't know if he got it straightened out or not.
Don Bowles was flyin in the Maverick as usual. He was #1 qualifier until late in the day. I think he's now 2nd w/8.80. I think that et is right. Me Damon and Chuck were in the stands watching but I'm not good at remembering all the times. Had a good time hangin w/the BROTHAS though.

Re: Columbus NMRA and Damon
I didnt race today I got home early. Chuck went out and ran his 1st run of qualifying and he broke out ,but so did the other guy by more than Tiny so hes still in as of 11:00 am. Damon told him he would probably break out it was cool this morning
As for myself I had a carb problem and found out it was the secondary float was to high. I couldnt get a consistant run to figure out what to dial in at. I had been runnig slower cause of the stumble and said I will try 10.52 and my wife says try 10.40 something what does she know ? ( Right) Well I ran a 10.48 and I lifted right before I crossed the line. I guess I found the problem and got my balls broke when she came back to the pits. Sucks when shes right. But I found the problem and also had a header break. But it was fun saw some good people and did alot of bull shitting.

You to. To bad you couldnt race. I hate chasing problems at the track like that. You know National Trails sure isnt as good as Norwalk.
