Thats true Frank, there are lots of people like that. Just some more BS NHRA rules. I agree w/drug tests but they need to lighten up in some cases imo.besides WGAF

I have the same issues with public restrooms etc, but I can always manage to fill the cup when its time.

Hey you know, if they need a cup filled , its that important, and you really can't pee...You might as well fill the cup up with something.

Re: Pro Comp karma..........
It is hard to pee with someone lurking over your back for me been there before.I have had to go back 3 or 4 times before for a drug test with nothing to hide.I can say honestly I haVE NEVER BEEN DIRTY when called on for drug test.Breath test is another story want get into that.So I can see how he could not pee for them it is alot different than pulling it out with no one watching you.

Ok I dont know this guy nor do I know anything about the way the deal went down. Lets just say NHRA asks for the sample on Friday afternoon and you already had a few beers, So you decide to wait until morning to go for the test. Then things get hectic, your trying to qualify for a national event here. It gets left to the last minute and then you cant squeeze it out. I read the article and the guys explanation sounds possible to me. Like I said I have no previous knowledge about him or anything but many of you guys have personal experience with the big comfy machine we know as NHRA. The other thing I am missing is the pro comp reference?? Something I dont know I guess.

Re: Pro Comp karma..........
He didn't say he couldn't pee in 24 hours, the way I read it was that he waited till the last minute to go do it and then could not pee before he's 24 hours was up. He said it was his fault for waiting so long.
The only thing that shows me how STUPID NHRA is, is the following below, I can understand about not being able to drive, but not to be able to even attend an event, come on. NHRA is stupid enough to turn down his admission fee just to watch. Add up admission fees for X amount of weekends over a years time, and NHRA says they don't want that money. Thats showing em who's boss, by golly!

Strasburg was hoping to return to the track as a tuner for alcohol cars or Pro Mod cars, but according to his NHRA suspension he can’t attend races by the sanctioning body for a year.

Re: Pro Comp karma..........
I hate that happened to Mike. I hope he wasn't on anything, but who knows. I know Mike personally and he runs our (Chuck Ford) billet blowers. He and his brother Jeff own B & J transmissions. I guess he won't be needing any more blowers this year unless he can get another driver.

Back 20 years ago when I was in the National Guard, they would pull random checks on us. I would get up in the morning, take the mornig tinkle, head to guard training and they would pull the random. If I do my morning business, it's later that afternoon before I need to go again. I was always one of the last ones to get a sample in.

A quote from the article:
"Strasburg said he was required to fill two vials of urine and he could only fill one.
“They (NHRA) will not test just one (vial),” Strasburg said."
The answer is simple. Kerry needs to hook this guy up with some premium beer, like Pabst Blue Ribbon. His lack-of-wiz problem will dissapear instantly.
I should offer health consultion services, I guess.
See how fast I solved his problem!

One of the Pro Stock drivers tried that method last year and couldn't race either. Beer is a big no-no too....A guy just can't enjoy life and race too I guess

Dan-o....if they start testing us...I guess we will just get a job working the water hose at the burnout box.

The problem with that is, there are a couple guys, well one in particular at our 1/8 mile track, that likes to enjoy life a little too much, and race too. His problem is he's been seen "ON THE TRACK" while still intoxicated, and nobody says anything except, "man, one of these days he's gonna hurt somebody." I'll tell ya what, if I even hear of it again, I'm turning him in to the NHRA myself!! I have ZERO tolerence for that kind of stuff. Some people have said, " Aaaah, he's just hungover, and he took a couple beers to ease the hangover. B.S.!!!! I should just call the regional office today, 'cause it just burns me up so bad!!!
