Mine is a washer off a small block chevy, thats what everyone told me to use, it is darn thick.
I have a washer if you need it, send me a addy, and its yours.

I got mine at Autozone. Its a Crank bolt & Washer kit for a SBC. The grade 8 washer is 1/4" thick.

If you gotta long enough bolt.......use both.

My ARP bolt was too long. It bottomed out in the cam the last 2 threads. Caused me to shear the cam pin because when we torqued the bolt it gave an incorrect reading. Make sure it goes in all the way finger tight before torquing.

When you take the oil slinger off, suppose to use a thicker washer, or a shorter bolt, happens to the best of us.

I have the ARP bolt and thin washer but I still have the fuel pump eccentric bolted on.
My guess is the thick washer takes the place of the eccentric.
Is this the case?

Yes, if you do not have an eccentric the washer will need to be thicker i.m.o.

Cam with 7/16" bolt and huge cam washer..

We've just gone ahead and started making our own cam washers out of 4340. Really thick.
A thin washer will deform and the bolt will come loose. And then all the parts will kiss each other and your wallet will shrink.
