Montana land for sale?

What's up with the commercials on TV that show land for sale in Montana? I think
it was 10 acres for $20,000?

probabally the side of a mountain...on a 45 degree angle!

and so far out it takes the internet 3 days to catch up.........

No it's the land next to the Prison, and on the Reservation! HA! HA! I have not seen any of those yet but it's more than likley some ground inn the flat parts of Montana .

IF it were true, they probably mean $20,000/acre. Shoot, I live no place special, and I paid $25,000 for 1-1/2 acres. If you find 10 acres of land here for $20,000, I'll guarantee it'll be somewhere out in the "Badlands" where even Mother Nature doesn't go. NO JOKE!! That land ain't worth $1.00/acre.

I have been looking a lot as my family moved up there around 2004, and I am hoping to make it up there in a couple years or so. I see a lot of variation on land prices depending on location, availability of utilities, flat or hilly, waterfront or river, etc.

I have been looking mainly in the flathead valley, by Kalispell. Whitefish is really expensive. Would love a spot on Flathead lake but that is really expensive.

not sure where you will find 10 acers for 20,000 in montana but i do know where there is 50 acers for 400,000 with some excelent building sites and views of the mountians about 6 miles south of flathead lake which can be split into 1 acer lots.

I'm pretty sure about that price....and your probably right about
"The "Badlands" location. Or maybe just a marketing ploy to get you to
call, and do the ole' bait and switch.

On the land deal! I happened along a 6-75 acre piece with well, septic, 2 car garage, horese correl and a barn for $23000.00 only because the guy had it willed to him and did not want to deal with it. And it is out about 12 miles from town.WINDY AS HELL ALMOST ALL THE TIME!
