Indy report Jegs Quick 32

Okay guys, at ORP this weekend it was the season kickoff for the NHRA Div 3 Jegs Quick 32 Series. The four Fords that made the show were Krisse Lawyer, Darren Douglass, Bobby Small, and Scott Carmen. Krisse lost in the second round breaking out by .003. Now the good news, Bobby Small and Scott Carmen are in the finals! Way to go, hometown boys!

Scott Carmen was the winner with a .004 package over Bobby Small. Way to go Fords at Indy They'll both be at the Ford Bash, along with Krisse. I hope Darren and Frank Douglass come in this year for it also.

Sure is nice to see all Ford finals...and local guys doing well too!

Well I just talked with Phillip and of course he is pleased with the finals, because Scotty and Bobby are two of his best friends. Another thing that he's pleased about is that both of those dragsters were Phillip's American Racecars swing-arm dragsters.

While this is called the Jeg's SuperQuick 32 Series,,,,actually the first race of the year, and the last race of the year are 64 car fields. So Scott and Bobby had to wade through 6 rounds today, and Bobby was telling me that there towards the end it was getting pretty hectic with round robin racing. Bobby said he had four straight rounds with .009 lights. He beat Shorty Rader in the semis, and then of course lost to Scott in the finals. All in all, a good day for our BB Fords.

Some lady, was the fastest by a long shot.

I thought 4.50 was as fast as they can go in this series? I know Bobby would have to turn the wick down to go 4.50

6.o5 @230 m.p.h. next was 6.12, then 6.21, ladys name was Melissa Hudson.

That's the top dragster ladder Harold. This is a jegs quick 32 in this case 64 . I think they can run faster than 4.50 in that class.

I got down to 7 cars in Super Pro, and my buddy (Kenny Robinson red Fairlane) won SP in a BBF in was a good showing for the big oval

It is very pleasing to see so many Ford's in the series. Congrats to Scott and Bobby. All of the final 4 have our headers. Nice to see as well.
