How big of a CO2 bottle would one need to run a typical fogger system? I can see the advantage of using an air pushbutton instead of voltage.

Anything you can do with voltage you can do with air as well... I've seen some real old air operated engine alarm systems on some workboats throughout the years.

I don't know but I would guess a long time. The guys at Advance Control Devices said my 10oz C02 bottle (2"x14") for my shifter would last about 500 shifts.

We've done a few manifolds with the Combo Flow solenoids.. Actually getting ready to do a four stage one here in the next week or so... Here's a couple of pics of one we did a little while ago...

Thanks for posting that Steve. I've been thinking about replacing the solenoids on the small block Mustang with the pneumatic ones. I've already replace the electric ones twice and it's getting to be a pain.

Steve,

What are the main advantages of going pneumatic other than not having to keep an alternator, big battery, etc... on the car just to run the solenoids?

No Hi-amp wiring or relays required, and they can't burn out like the electric solenoids can. Which is what happen to the last set I had. Luckily the last time it happened it was a nitrous solenoid that failed and it just ran the engine real rich dumping in extra fuel. If it had been the other way around, it would have lean out bad and probably melted something down.

Electric solenoids generally don't fail only being on less than 7 seconds at a time! Very Happy

Would the pneumatic solenoids cycle quick enough for a progressive controller?

I guess because you would still need a electric solenoid some where in the system. LOL (Don't know why I didn't think of that.)
