A460 block, same old questions!
Well bought the block with big & quick ideas. But-----still have some questions.
1. how big or small to drill the oil restrection to the top end. Roller lifters and roller rockers.
2. had to clarance #2 web and cap. no end play with a scat crank. read here that some have had this problem.
3. what in the heck is the 1/4 in screw that fell out of the packing used for?
4. should the block be decked to say 10.305 insted of the 10.320?
5. can anyone recamend a good oil pan for an tube chaiss car?
6. more questions to come I'm sure.
Thanks for the info and help.

Correct me if I'm wrong guys, I don't have my notes in front of me.
Drill one of the restrictors to .062" and put it in the front or back but NOT both...
If you don't have pistons yet, get some so you don't have to deck the crap out of your new block. If you do have pistons then measure and deck accordingly in order to get the proper quench i.e .005" to .010"
Stef's pan or one of those custom deals from Lem

Re: A460 block, same old questions!
Here's some EXCELLENT information from when I built my engine with the A460 block... Enjoy
https://www.429-460.com/t634-a460-block-534ci-engine-build-thread?highlight=A460+A429
Note how I had Adney Brown tweak the new crank and make it 4.310" instead of 4.300" in order to keep from decking the new block as much

yes dont deck anything till you do your math for piston hight. the hole size depends on oil weight, dry sump, wet sump, etc, so get some parts in front of you before the wagon
