sparks were flyin !!!!
...... had a great test and tune left everything the same except for the new scoop, jetted 2# up and strapped the front end down , on almost every pass i had to lift , and it seemed the engine was up about 3-400 rpm at idle on the passes i stayed in it it gained about 3 mph in the 1/8 amd about 5 mph in the 1/4 ....so i say the scoop is working well , and she is moving out the back door
the last pass it seemed to find a couple of extra ponies and did a second wheel stand past the 60' and came down and bent the wheel, broke the spindle and i need a new set of headers , and even my wife thought it was funny .... i will try and upload this video , but otherwise we are making progress with the power just have to get it down track ........

I'm sure Julia will be all shyts and giggles when she sees the repair bill.... Maybe you should think about putting those sissy sticks on ,or at least staying in the throttle until you see God

Yeah like I said I'm not being a dick, it always looks less violent through a lens in the stands. Put the bars on and not have to worry about hurting stuff any more.

I didn't say you had moved them just wonder where they are. An engine idling up can likely be lean......could be weather or a vacuum leak.

i know your not , i just have to listen to the peanut gallery at the track if you know what i mean ...... ....... and the car doesnt feel violent it just feels like it doesnt want to stop rotating towards the sky ........ i guess just need to jet up and stop here from getting up on that tire , add some more wheel speed plus some sissy bars

temps were around 74-76 deg and the humidity was around 40-44% and like i said i had jetted up the carb for the new scoop..... but as far as touching the carb sounds like to much stuff to f up ------- hopefully the bash will be soon and i can get some of your love on the carb

Glad you're seeing the light about wheelie bars Nick. Why waste some energy going up when you can use it to go forward.
Just another good, usable tool to adjust wheel speed. More adjustability is more gooder.
