TnT tonite :) at U.S. 13
its gonna be nice and kool out tonite so this should be a good nite. I'm gonna see if can run my 1st. 9 second pass ever even tho there gonna say park it i'm ready to get my license in a week or so anyway just gotta put in a net and lockin trans tube. once i get it sorted out then i'll try my 1050 dominator with the aluminum hvh 4150 to 4500 adapter and then i'll compare that against the new tfs intake to see how much it picks up seeing how my 4150 victor is unported.

Well i got 3 full runs in and it went 10.243 @132.48 then another 10.243@132.11 and the last one was a 10.236@132.21 mph despite me spinning all 3 runs the 60' times were 1.499,1.494 and 1.493 and all 3 times i launched @ 2500 (footbrake) anything higher it wanted to push past the beams and i shifted at 6500 the carb is my buddys aed ported 950hp with 82-94 jet. So far i'm happy with it for what it is i know a converter is in need and a dominator carb as well. And i wonder if taking off 21lbs off the passenger rear tire could make me spin more (the regular battery died so i put in a liteweight oddsey battery i had laying around) i'm gonna take it friday nite for the brackets cause its consistent for sure, my first pass last friday nite when i went to test it was a 10.23 as well so before i rip it apart for the converter change i'm gonna try to make some bucks with it

looks like you had a good test night. You can never go wrong when you remove weight. Does the car have a spool ?

Yes it has a spool its a very lite car and removing weight in the wrong place can hurt depending on the car its 2600 with me in it even tho i weighed it at the track last friday and it said 2710(i think the scale is wrong or it was wrong all those years and now its right ) i've weighed the car over the years and with iron heads it was always 2725 to 2735 depending on how much fuel was in it so now that its aluminum heads and the batterys 21lbs lighter plus 5lbs on spring perchs removed it should be lighter.
