Nice to see chilly edit the thread for the man too.... I'm starting to have the idea that selling it was chillys idea all along to make money on the free knowlage of others is a rather low thing IMO and then not even have the decentcy to offer it to the small group of regulars and true blue bbf people well that's just.......

Well, I'd like to think nothing will change at the other site, but, my gut says changes are coming, and sooner, rather than later...

I think everyone that contributed money to the old site should go to PayPal and cancel the automatic payment to the site. I was always a little nervous about that anyway. It's just too bad that we lose all the technical information that was posted on the old site! Maybe if the Guru's would repost the info they have here we could at least save some of it. Frank Merkl, the Mad porter, Paul Kane, C. Evans, Adney Brown and many others could help create a new database for this forum. And of course someone needs to put all that Pro Comp head stuff in a sticky so it can be foud easily by new members, so that we don't have to go through the anguish of reinventing the wheel every week or so! And then after several years the site will grow and flourish and Nick can sell this one for big bucks!
I justed added "Bruno's Bar and Grill" to my menu bar in internet Explorer!

You know, the more I think about this the more pissed I get! Chilly never even hinted at this, was it just something on the spur of the moment? It would have been nice if he would have told us about it before the deal was done. I can't blame him for cashing in on his creation, but the way this was done just drives me crazy.

I'm just really down and upset, all of those times spent of the forum when I should have been working. All of the drama in my life I have delt with due to the website.

I have made a lot of friends over the website and learned a lot of information. I hope things don't start to change too quick but I can promise you the site is going to get filled with advertisements. Then they are going to offer yo a membership fee you cand pay for that will make some of the advertisements go away.

I just got an email from the new owners and they want to talk to me over the phone.

Hang with us jones.... They can buy the site but they can't buy us....

Well, crap ! I just sent my 15 bucks to Chilly.

Could we have a sticky set up where WE can start copying and pasting info from the other site onto this one ?...before it is lost ?

Jones: Can you update us over here at Bruno's after you talk to them and let us know what their plans are? I know that you put in alot of hours in at the old forum, I guess you could hope that the new owners might recognize your efforts and offer to pay you to continue !
