New-to-me '65 Mustang tube car
Here are some pictures of the latest addition to the stable.
One view of the 289:
Head-on view of the 289:
Note the blemish right at the rear of the hump where the driveshaft disintegrated
There's a joke here somewhere about a horse's @$$, but I can't think of one...
The end...
Been trying to work out a deal on this car for a while.I've wanted a tube car again for quite a while.I also wanted a older body style. This car is a little rough around the edges but is a overall sound car.It ha a low comp 466 act has dish tops but has a good top end 1050 dom. on a victor int trick flow heads crane gold rockers and jomar stud girdle 660 lift comp roller cam and lifters. It has a c6 that is fresh but has no mods other than a shift kit they ran it in drive and let it shift it's self.Has a nice narrowed moser rear and a ladder bar set up.It needs some work on the front, the struts are old and don't suit me. It has sat fot a couple of yrs so it needs some TLC.I think I'll enjoy it.
