Yes, Truly a sad day that Americans will never forget.

I turned on the TV just after the first plane hit. They were covering the situation live when I saw the 2nd plane hit. It took me a little bit to figure out that what I had just seen was not a replay.

Being in the aviation industry, well, let's just say that I did not need to put on a uniform that day.

What a terrible loss for our country, and I will never forget.

This is a sad day in our history but it sure brought the country together! God Bless All those who were lost that day and all those fighting for us so it doesnt happen again.

I think it is the history channel? two nights ago...

Replaying some of the event's I've never seen before, videos of people jumping to their death, shoes all over the ground with no bodies in sight, interviews with folks that were there first hand. The words they spoke of, the sights they saw total loss for words when you see the destruction!! Absolutely the worst day I can remember.!!!

The world came to a stop!!! I remember where I was, California, looked up in the sky and did not see one aircraft. Quiet. Very odd feeling...

I was at work and heard about it then watched the second plane impact LIVE and it seemed like a dream or something in Hollywood. I couldn't really grasp it at the time..........

I made plans to go to a farm show called Husker Harvest Days. I stopped at my FIL's house to pick him up and saw the second plane go into the tower. The feeling in the pit of my stomach cannot be described. Husker Harvest Days is the largest working farm show in the nation. Usually a very festive environement, but not this time. Everyone was talking about the planes and towers. Sorry to hear if anyone here lost any family in this tragedy. If anyone wants to know why we are fighting in the Middle East, here is your answer. I applaud our former administration for doing the hard thing and starting the destruction of the terrorists, and hope the current admin does the same. We cannot get rid of them completely, but we sure can make it tough on them to continue to plan and carry out these attacks on us

That day I will always remember I was at Pace American working in options welding a observation deck that goes on the top of the trailer listing to the radio when they came across about the 1st one me and the guy that was helping me at that time stoped and listen to what they where saying when we herd them say a 2nd plane just hit the other tower that day they was not much work going on every radio was on and everybody was listening to them.An then the pintagan and the plane crashing in the field thats when everytime someone went out of the building we where looking up and checking to make we didn't see any low flying planes we don't have any big airports around here so if you see any low flying big planes you start wondering,even Ga. wasn't near any of it it still scare you hearing all that going on at once.Yes I will always remember that day if I don't ever remember another one.

when a collage kid stopped and got out of his car and yelled at us
he said a plan hit the towers and than sped off
we were confused so we stopped worki9ng for a bit so we could hear the radio
it took a few min for it to sink in
but it was a numb feeling and we worked the rest of the day but
our eyes were up in the air most of the day and i was wondering
if we were next
i didnt relize how bad it rilly was untill i got home that night and it was all over the tv
i felt very sad for the victims and there famly's
and very angry

I was in my first or second period 9th grade class. I remember the teacher stepped out of the room to answer his phone and when he came back in he looked grim. Told us that two planes had hit the WTC and there had been a explosion at the Pentagon. Fast forward to my study hall. Teacher had the tv on. (at this point all I knew was what I had been told by the other teacher) Noticed the NYC skyline looked different. Asked the teacher..what happend to the towers?
