557ci, with iron d3ve heads not sure on how worked they are, 1.7 roller rockers with stud girdles, 13:1 probe pistons, mid 700 lift cam mechanical flat tappet, stock block d0ve I think, Eagle steel crank eagle 4340 rods, hi volume oil pump, 1050 bill mitchell dominator race gas, big tube headers unsure on exact size. 7 quart oil pan, engine runs 6.teens in 1/8th mile, in 2700lb car, mezire electric water pump 100 amp alternator, msd distributer plug wires and plugs. Is for sale with everything needed even including flywheel and starter. Don't know if it will need be rebuilded or not used engine so I now its always a good idea to freshen up before put in car. but can hear run now sounds great. Just helping a buddy out wanting to sell his current setup and strat with something new just doesn't know what this thing may be worth would appreciate all input and opinions he would like it priced to sell so what would someone most likely give for this piece.

Wow, he'd be better off tearing it down, and selling it piece by piece.

It doesn't smoke and sounds good. But guess we are on same page as you we thought 2500-3000 would be a fair price that it might actually sell for.

Now that was a thought as well but he was afraid it would take for ever selling everything individually but might make more?

I agree w/Harold, should be worth more than that being it's a running long block. JMO

I would like to think so but I don't know flywheel to alternator and water pump, air cleaner to pan, with all ignition, headers and even starter.

I think that it should be worth more being as the rotating assembly alone is almost $2K. I would say closer to $3500. I think Carl's iron headed stroker motors are about $6K+. Cool
