NMRA WORLD FINALS

Went racing Saturday to make sure everything was working before we go to BG. Unfortunately I lost 2nd round even though I treed my opponent with my .019 to his .030 he ran a 6.271 on a 6.27 dial Mine slowed a tad to a 5.99 on a 5.96 so.....

I made a Pro Tree hit full quarter like Open Comp and chopped down the tree with a .001 RT and a 9.33 at 143mph

I'm READY for BG.... Let's GET IT ON!

Thinking about running brackets down there. Do you have to NMRA member? Track Tech or NMRA Tech? Car ain't certified, only goes 6.30's 40's..IHRA cert is at 6.0. Just wondering if it's worth taking the car down there.

Tom,

You don't have to be a member of NMRA to run brackets and you will have no problem with tech. They pay more attention to the class racers.

Sounds good to me, even sounds better than the burgers and wieners we were gonna bring. Hopefully we get to pit with the gang as well!!!! Brian.

OMG the Cajun Cuisine that Jason and Lisa make is so freakin' AWESOME! I can't wait!!!!

We are bringing grills and smokers and a bunch of food and drinks.................

This summer I built a drop down 10" burner for the BBQ I have mounted in my truck. It has much better low flame control for cooking gumbos and such. I look forward to it so maybe friday or saturday morning we'll start cooking something that way we can have some lunch ready when everybody else doesn't have time to cook.

Man it has been a crazy two days. I just got back from Ohio Saturday with a two week list of things to do. I think I managed to get most of them done and it's too late for the rest. We were hoping to leave to BG this morning but it never happened. We are leaving tomorrow morning 6am headed to Blakes house in TN. Hopefully the weather will be nice so we can take the bucket for a cruise up to Lynchburg on Wednesday then we'll try and organize a meet Wednesday night in BG with Damon and Tracy. Red I have some Alligator, shrimp and crab and pork Boudin for you so you'll have to stop by tomorrow night or wednesday. I was hoping for an extra day to go to KY and visit Eddy and Sue but it just isn't in the cards. Saturday we will be making some jambalaya for lunch so those that would like some please stop by. Last year we had lots which is always good. I think Damon took the rest home with him. lol. Anyways see you all there.

We are locked and loaded and will be pulling in to the track Thursday night.
