MY MOTOR IS AT JET BOAT BOB'S

Drove up to KY from NC wed.morning to Lem's place.Great drive pretty country.Lem and Shawn fixed me up with some parts I was missing for my BBF build.Lem also showed me the new Boss heads.WOW!!!!We stayed at Lem's for an hour and a half.I really want to thank Lem for all the phone calls I put him through and for being so nice to my girlfriend and me.Lem has really given me some great advice,and is helping me pick the right camshaft for my build.After our goodbyes,it was down the road 4 miles to Jet Boat Bob's place.Bob met us and we unloaded all yhe motor stuff from my Expedition.Bob has a super nice workshop.Did I tell you Bob has a super nice workshop,WOW!!!!It looks more like a Nascar workshop.So clean and neat.Bob showed me all the neat motors he was working on.Then we talked about all of the neat things he is going to do my to make it a ground pounding 552 BBF Cheby eater.Again I want thank Bob for being so personable to us.He treated us like family,he is just a super super nice guy.We stayed at Bob's for 3 hrs just talking cars and motors.I could have stayed another 5hrs easy.It was worth the 12 hr drive up just to meet Lem and Bob.I am glad to support and give these guys on the fourm my business.Oh yeah, my build.Dove-a block,60 over,4.5 Scat crank.6.8 rods,soild roller cam??p-51 heads{massaged by Uncle Charlie},Motorsport H intake again ported and massaged by Uncle Charlie,Dominator 1150 Carb,150 shot of nitrous,Meirzre elec water pump,sheet metal valve covers,MSD dizzy,comp rockers,isky roller lifters,Kaase oil pump.All of this going into a 1966 pro street Fairlane.This car is full tubbed,full chassis,ready for kicking some Cheby ass on the street or strip.Thanks for everything .Michael and Wendy

The boat shop is a cool place to hang out. Did you catch Charlie snoozing in the recliner?

I agree, at the risk of being called an "ass kisser" , it's a risk I'm willing to take. Good folks are good folks.

Oh I didn't mean you were bashing him at all. Just commenting about some of the other things I have seen over the years. I missed all those guys last year at BG but from chatting with them online they are super friendly.

I am sure you will be happy with the work you receive at Bass Boat Bob's. They are all a great bunch of guys.

You know I am proud to know those guy's from Ky, and Tn, I classify them as close Freinds and Family, if someone has a problem with it, then thats their Problem they can just go suck a nut......

Bei ng at Bob's was like going to the Carisle Swap Meet and stumbling across a guy that had nothing but BBF stuff.And you guys are right,Lem And Bob treated Wendy And I like they had known us forever.Now I know why youse guys brag on them KY boys .Hey if this is nuthuggin ,well I"m proud to join the crowd,and I can't wait to go back and pick my motor up and watch them dyno it.We are at Pigeon Forge now for the Shades Of The Past rod run.Another great show.Even if there are more Chibies than FORDS,I seen alot of FE and 460 cars running around.We just love cars and walking around and talking to alot of nice people.Wendy and I usually go to 4or 5 Nascar races,and 2to 3 big car shows each year.

I think Bob has a little OCD when it comes to the big ford. Was there wednesday eve picking up our block, crank and rods. He wasn't going to let us leave without everything being absolutely to his liking. Spent 2 1/2 hours BSing with him and it was absolutely wonderful. He even had a chevy friend come over that I got to razz a little bit.(crabtree) I think I understood that he was developing a sweet spot for vw bugs, though!

Crabtree is a BIG Chevy guy .

Bass Boat Bob is THE MAN! He's been a big help with Chuck's engine when he was having all kinds of trouble.
