Re: video from the other night.............
i havent herd you talk about checking is your diff angle this year?considering the hp increase and you saying you are putting new M/T's on maybe an angle adjustment might be in order?
i have worked on the tow on my frontend and its going straight now.i also put the 200 lbs springs in the rear and turned the ride highth 1 1/2 taller.60ft times were better 1.32-1.35 until the last pass of 1.400 looking back i probably should have took out 1/2 air from the 11 1/2 i was useing.it was fun passing the bbc on the other end with a 5.77 the cap is 5.79 i was behind and didnt care next thing to work on is to check my diff angle im not sure were it is.

The ladderbar and driveline angles all look to be in check................interesting you put dumptruck springs on the rear Larry.............I have 125#s on it now, I may try the 160's I took off the front on the rear. hmmmmmmmm
Hopefully the gopro vid Ted took from my pass side door turns out, it was the 130 mph run..and it stayed on lol.

Re: video from the other night.............
Larry, you have the factory position springs correct? Mines a ladderdar deal with rear coil overs, so that might be the diff in the rates. This does have me thinking though, even though I can stiffen up the comp on the shocks they will still give unlike a stiffer spring rate. I just went and put the 160's on, I may need to get an airride seat like the big trucks do to ride in it lol. 160 might be a bit much, at any rate it will give me an idea if I'm going in the right direction. Maybe Dave will give some input when he reads this.

you work the math out for a 3020# car at 130mph..........its there, I just have to get the 60' deal figure out.
1.30's aint gonna get it done.

That was with a 57 jet in "mr frosty", only being on plain meth, a 100 degree track, over 3000#s and a 4400+ DA it wont run that n/a lol.

Re: video from the other night.............
yes its a stock suspension deal with qa1 10"springs in the stock location.not alot of people talk about what they are doing on these cars to get them hooked up so well, but i do know the IC is the key and i havent found it yet.earlier this year i took my car to a man that is at the top of the heap on these cars and grudge racing.he gave me a basic setup and im having to find my way "sadly".last time i was down at his shope getting the spring perches relocated he made the sugestion that i go with the 200lbs springs.5.98@115 was what i ran allmotor with a half assed setup at the moment 5.73@126 on the Frosty Jug with a decent setup
i was looking at my 7531 data logger i am droping 1000 rpm on the shift and near the 7000 rpm limit in the 1/8th.the 411 rear gear looks too short so as the Frosty diet increases a 3.8 something is in order.
