Re: Tim Murphy
Very sad news. I was just telling someone to give Tim a call the other day for some headers. Thoughts and prayers to Tim's family.

If someone knows of the funeral info, please post it up. He was a great guy and an artist with steel.

Re: Tim Murphy
My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family. Tim was truly one of the good guys and would do anything to help a fellow racer out.
At the Bash a few years ago he loaned a set of headers to a local Chevy dragster guy so he could make the next round of eliminations. That's just the type of guy he was...

Re: Tim Murphy
I'm certainly sorry to hear this terrible news about Tim. One of my fondest memories was of Tim and his little son at the Ford Bash one year. Tim had his racecar up on jack stands, and he and his son were under the car working on the Lenco/clutch and adjusting it. Tim was very patient with him and was carefully teaching him every step of the way. My sincere condolences to the family.

Re: Tim Murphy
That is terrible news. I got to meet Tim one time at the Bash, he was pitted a couple of cars down from me. I went over to talk to him. Just a real nice guy in my opinion, very down to earth. My condolences to Tim's family. You will be missed Brother R.I.P.

Hello to all the fine people here.
Tim was all the good things you've folks have mentioned and then some. Thank you.
His encyclopedic knowledge of cylinder heads, engines, racing classes and of course header design is unmatched.
I'm Mike Harrell. I've been the builder of most of the headers The Fab Shop has produced over the last five years. With Tim's family we will endeavor to continue producing the very best products and strive to match Tim's unequalled level of customer service. We feel the best way to honor him is to press on. That's how he would want it.
Thanks again to all of our friends/customers.
