5 SECOND CLUB !!
Add me to the club!
Went to Beech Bend last night to do some testing. Didn't get there till late and only got 2 passes in before they shut down. First time I have been to the track since the Bash, used a .400 pro tree to get ready for NMRA, so my lights sucked. Unloaded her, checked the fuel, tires and such. First pass out of the trailerwas a 5.990 at 116 and some change. Whoooohoooo! Still got more tuning to do, so I know there is more there. Pretty sure that there's some 70's in it. Must say I'm pretty pleased.

Re: 5 SECOND CLUB !!
Scott,
Congrats for getting into the 5 second club. In my book, your incrementals should be about;
60'= 1.31, 330'= 3.86, 660= 6.00, 1/4= 9.50 @ 141.6 mph. Like you, I suspect there is more in it.

Probably bracket
I don't believe it will make it to the back door. I think the 4.56's is to much. Might have to go back to the 4.10's.

I disagree. If the engine is built, that shouldn't be a problem.
Switching to the 4.10 gear will certainly keep you out of the 5 sec club.

Re: 5 SECOND CLUB !!
Congrats. I'm thinking some 4.10s just because of the tire height you're running.... Heck, if the engine has enough grunt you might be able to get away with less

Re: 5 SECOND CLUB !!
Grats Scott. Try the 4.10's with your combo & tire size. Should be really close to my 4.30 gear and 31" tire.

I run a 4.30 with 29.5's but she's got her tongue hung out at 7550 rpm through the 1/4 mile.

Re: 5 SECOND CLUB !!
Congrats on the good runs, You've got a great looking car too. I run a 4.56 gear and a 29 tire on my combo I wanted to drop it to either a 4.11 or 4.30. I have both but didn't have time to change the way things worked this summer.
