I got 2 calls today in 15 minutes,

The 1st was that my younger brother is getting released from Anderson Cancer center in Houston next week with no signs of brain cancer He's got to go back every 2 months for MRI's to see if it stays away and take chemo for another year. Wow is all I can think of right now. 2 major brain surgeries and 4 months of radiation and now the chemo. Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers,we'll hope this nasty thing stays away from here on!! Then , I get a call from my cousin's step dad, he tells me my cousin is in the hospital eat up with cancer. He's a year younger than me and more like my brother than a cousin. When he was 14 his dad (my Dad's brother) passed away from cancer and he came to live with us. He lived with me after we got out of school and we've raced motorcycles and cars together our whole life.He's a chevy guy though! Some of you locals probably know him too. Russ Hobbs ,he runs a 94 Lumina (Blue with yellow flames)Keep him in your prayers too..he's gonna really need them .Thanks to all of you again!!

Good news for sure about your brother,thank the lord Bad about the cousin though,hopefully w/prayer he will get the same results. We will surely pray for him Dan.

The Doctors here told us my brother would only survive up to 15 months with surgery and agrressive treatment.It's been 10 months now. They said nobody survives what he has at the University Of Kentucky Cancer Center. My cousin is in the same hospital my brother was to start with. Both of them never would go to the doctor unless they were very sick. I'm gonna have to go get checked myself before I have any trouble.My Dad's side has all died of cancer except his oldest brother. Thanks for your kind words and thoughts !!

Dan, glad to hear the brother is on the up side, I met your cousin when I came to rt. 60 to help you, I hope his recovery has a happy ending, the same as your brother, give me a call, and come up and race with me, wuick 8 this week, track is hooking like a mofo.
