Well, IF the information given is correct, (and I say IF because so many times it is not), they are NOT pro Comp heads.
Their 74cc combustion chambers and availability bare with 230cc intake ports are not the same. I suspect that this is just some more miss-information on the net.
IF they would sell them with a guarantee that these specs are true with a total refund plus 10% for troubles if they are not, I would buy a set tomorrow. I have sent many e-mails to them stating just this and have gotten NO replies at all.

The D0VES you have are fine... I went 8s with properly done doves and a stock shortblock. Earlier you mentioned needing to mid 9s which is EASILY accomplished with D0VES. If you have money burning a hole in your pocket work on the rest of your combo for consistency. And yes Avengers are CNC'd Pro Comps, I know they were marketed heavily by FPS on their crate motors a while back.

We have had 2 sets of TFS heads CNC ported by Troy Bowen at FPS (same as Avenger). I can't complain with the work that was performed. The CC of runners wasn't as large as advertised, but that probably applies to just about all head MFG's. If you are interested, I can post up before and after info on our bench, and what I CC'ed the runner at (unfortunately I didn't CC the head before sending them out). On My Basic 514 with 650 lift camshaft, the engine picked up 40 hp on the dyno changing nothing else but the porting.

The heads returned with an intake runner of 318cc, exhaust was 130cc, and the combustion chamber was 72cc (skim cut by FPS to achieve final size).
We have a Superflow SF600 bench, and use Brezinski plate. Here is the before and after numbers on my heads
Before After
Intake Intake
.100 66 74
.200 141 142
.300 207 209
.400 265 277
.500 312 329
.600 335 355
.700 344 372
.800 346 392
Exhaust
.100 56 65
.200 104 114
.300 144 150
.400 176 184
.500 204 206
.600 225 225
.700 241 237
.800 241 249
Exhaust was flowed with a short stack 2 1/8'' dia.
The Before numbers were performed back in 2006 on this bench, and the after numbers were done beginning of 2011. I only bring this up as the 1st set of CNC ported heads I flowed were also in 2006, and had a slightly better exhaust flow number, which could be do to calibration, valve job, supplier of valve, etc. Those heads topped out at 261 CFM at .800 lift on exhaust, yet Intake numbers were very similar.
