kasse oil pump in a daily driver?
gonna up grade my motor to a dry sump this winter
i currently have a kasse oil pump ear sump with a 8qt rear sump pan
i wonder if it would be a good idea to run it in my trailer puller
97 f350 4x4 crew cab 460 e4od
motor is stock but i wanna do a cam and throttle body
and possibly a chip if would help at all?
i was thinking it would be tuff to sell my kasse pump with pan for much of anything
even if i go thalf price of new for the pump and pan i would only get about 350.00
maybe it would be worth keeping it for my daily driver/trailer puller?
the pan will fit right in and if i ever stroke the motor it will have a good pump already
but would it be to much for a daily driver?

All of the above responses are true ,but why do it, That's a high dollar pump and not needed in a low hp application.
And even with a stroker it still wont need a kasse pump, just put it on the shelf and use it on something that needs it when the time comes.

Re: kasse oil pump in a daily driver?
you got a point i guess it isnt gonna help the motor any
i might try to sell it and see what i can get for it
i figured i got about 650.00 into the pump and pan if i could get half that i would consider selling it all
or possibly sell just the pump but i am not gonna sell it till i get my dry sump set up all done just incase i run out of cash and need to run it another season
