best intake for daily driver
edelbrock 2795 is what I currently....
New motor 504 cid. 9.75cr, pump gas , in my 83 f100. dove heads pocket ported and bowl blended with stock size valves, cam hyd flat tappet, .563/.558 lift, duration @50 224/239, 107 intake center line. 770 holley vacuum seconday
I want really good torque 2000-4000 rpm... NOT FOR RACING
What intake would you recommend?
Is the torker 2795 worth using?

think your going to hear eddy performer, rpm(I had and like, but didn't compare except to stock), rpm airgap and weiand stealth. then a whole bunch of back and forth on which is better.

The original Torker intake will choke a 500" combo. Great off idle response though.
I have a new one I bought from FRPP when they were clearing inventory some years ago. Just wow...
If you want the best area under the curve use a performer. Do not port match. Add a Jomar power cone. The PC will help breathing a bit at the top by allowing a bit of cross flow and a bit of additional plenum volume.
Restrict heat through the intake by cutting a piece of stainless steel to fit in the gasket cut out for the cross over.
For cold weather use drill a 5/16" hole to allow some heat but not enough to over heat the intake and carb.

Do you think the one I already purchased from you needs a friend?
