Ford gasket glue
In the past there has been mention about Ford gasket adhesive but I can't seem to find it with the search. Does anyone know the number?

Ford no longer services their "white" contact gasket adhesive; I now use Edelbrock "gaskacinch" contact cement or Wellwood contact cement from the corner hardware store.
The TA--Ford stuff is a "RTV type" product.
Re: Ford gasket glue
I use the yellow weatherstrip adhesive at work and at the house on my own stuff if I need to "tack" something in place. TA31 would take forever to set up.

Re: Ford gasket glue
So do you just use the contact cement to hold the gasket in place?
Really the only place I use silicone is the intake end seals, oil pan and around the intake coolant ports.
Should I use something else?

Re: Ford gasket glue
Well what a CF that turned into. I was at Ford this morning so that is what prompted this thread. They only had TS30 but another dealership had the TS31. I drive to another town to pick it up and they can't sell it to me for an hour till their cashier gets back. I was like " WTF"? i drove here for nothing. So I will just use what I normally use. Thanks for the help.

Randy,
Is the Edelbrock "gaskacinch" similar to the "Right Stuff" by permatex ?

I don't know, I've never used the "Right Stuff".
The Edelbrock "Gaskacinch" is a lot like the Wellwood contact cement except at 3 times the cost.
Coat the gasket and the metal part surface where it is going to be used with a very thin application, wait for them to surface dry and put 'em together.
Put 'em in the right place the FIRST time 'cause the gaskets won't move after being joined.
