77 Mustnag II hatchback Tube chassis
I am looking into selling ol Moodyblues. Friend of mine has a Probe he wants to sell me and wont sell to anyone else (his dad passed it was his car,and we were good friends).
103" wheelbase full mild steel tube chassis with funny car cage.
strut front
disc brakes
Koni double adjustable shocks
4.88 rear gear with 41 spline - over 5k in rearend
4-link
glass front, hood, doors, and hatch
parachute and wheelie bars and RJ race cars aluminum pro stock wing
pro star wheels 16 x 32 rear slicks
Car runs straight as an arrow.
Car is in good shape and no reason I would ever sell until this Probe deal came out of the blue
Cost over 20k just to build the chassis.
Car has never been certified but would with new seat belts.
There are very few of these around.
11,000 cash firm, no trades, and not one penny less, dont even ask.

Runs 6.00 heads-up index. Car runs 5.70s. Set up for BBF. With BBF + dove heads = 2350 lbs.

Just never had a reason to certify and they only come around here every once in a while. I would say 7.50 or better. It was built to run Quick Rod.
Cert. of Moody Blues.
I know this car well, it would fall under NHRA, sportsman certification. I would be willing to add the necessary tubing needed to drop the ET. Certification on this ride. Let the man know, car is well built, whoever may purchase this car will not be disappointed.

Russ stick it on racing junk and Indy racing scene .com, car like this should go pretty fast at that price.
Re: 77 Mustnag II hatchback Tube chassis
Russ 7.50 is as low as a mild steel chassis will certify too.It has to be chromemoly to go any faster. That's a cool car, someone should want it.Good luck with your sale!!
