Joe just so you know that is a service block and it will use either head, Boss 429 or wedge heads...

Re: Boss 429 Block
Pretty good Scott. I had one 1st, two 2nd, one 3rd, and two other top fives. The motor has way more power than anyone else in the class I just haven't gotten use to turning left yet. When I do, they are all in trouble.
Taken the mustang to the KY Horsepower shootout today. It's the first time it's been out since last November. I am pretty excited about getting to make a few passes.

Thats great.
I ran a 5.78 at 121 at NMRA with my new combo back at the first of the month. I was pretty happy about that.
You get that stang back out and you'll forget all about that tiddy bowl racing! LOL

Re: Boss 429 Block
We had a lot of fun yesterday going straight again. We were the number 1 qualifier with a 5.12 at 146 and received a $500 prize for being number 1. We made it to the final round and lost to Sam Vincent. He ran a 4.80 at 140 and I ran a 5.08 at 134. Both of us spun on top end and had to lift. I put a killer pass in it but the track wouldn't hold it. It probably wouldn't have been enough though because Sam ran a 4.65 at 150 in the semis. I knew I had to do something and give it a shot. I was shooting for a 4.90 pass and hopefully 150 mph. I think it would have done it but would of could of should of.
