Are these blue thunder heads?

I recently bought this engine from a friend and he told me these were blue hunder heads. there are no markings under the valve covers. all I could find is a "fpp" logo and "127" on the end. thanks for any help.

Yes....those are Blue Thunder heads with the Ford exhaust pattern. Congrats....you have just purchased an excellent quality set of heads. Blue Thunder (Art) went to the trouble of installing Timesert thread inserts at most of the threaded holes and hardened inserts for the head bolt seats. Properly prepared, these heads will produce great power and great durability.

Ford Power Parts use to be in business. they were big used ford parts and consignment dealer out of Cali. He use to sell Blue Thunder parts and have his FPP logo put on some of the Blue Thunder parts..... nice heads.....

I believe those are from the first production run. I have set 117, still in the boxes, got them in 98 from Cocaine Ron.

Yes, they are the raised Ford exhaust. Sorry, I'm going to use them, going to have them ported and set up soon.
