69 460 complete Dove .030 bore 750hp+

Im mainly just feeling out the water here. Ive got alot invested and no time to play anymore. I could use the money at the time but also don't want to loses alot of money aswell. If i list something and it doesnt sound right i maybe wrong let me know and ill check it out. so here is what i got...



69 FORD 460 Dove engine block .030 bore

Dove Heads with Extensive Head Work

New Timing cover

New Water Pump

New Oil pump

All new Gaskets and seals

Was told by a respectable machine shop it should hit around 800 hp

So this will easily be a 700-750hp motor

It is complete from pan to intake only ran on the stand. If it will make the sell ill take

to a dyno and prove the HP at the crank...

I may have left something out fill free to ask ?'s here and ill get you the answers as soon as i can.

I have over 8k in the engine so lets just start there. Asking $8000.00 I know im not going to get all this make a offer im not going to get butt sore over it. I am located in Dalton Ga 30721. Just south of Chattanooga TN. I will deliver this motor with a respectable deposit. And 100% agreed price including delivery . I will upload some pics of it later in the week. You could be right im not trying to pull anything over on anyone i listed the Parts list, do you know off hand the HP it should put out. Im not sure but i was thinking it all depended on the Head work mainly maybe im wrong. Either way anyone seriously interested ill get it to the dyno, i may do it either way if i get a free weekend...

cam specs would help sale it also and that will give some of them a better guess on the HP numbers

I live just west of Chattanooga, 50 miles from Dalton.

Just a little info.........

I have a Dove headed 514 that is probably around 675 hp (5.80s in a 2300 lb tube chassis car). Cam is pretty radical.

Im guess with those parts and a very good cam this 466 you have would be maybe 600 hp.

Where do you want it shipped to Soupbean?

I say 550hp if the heads are decent and everything else is optomized. $8K is way too high. IMO you will be damn lucky if you can get $3K in this economy. Not trying to hurt your feelings and that's if everything checks out correctly.
