Own a piece of racing history for only 250K
I was cruising eBay looking for some parts for my maverick and ran across this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ford-Ford-1970-Maverick-DYNO-DON-Race-car-/150691419273?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item2315e89489#ht_1318wt_606

Man I loved Dyno Don. I still have a signed pic of him in my shop. Dyno and Kaase...what a racing combo!

I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I bet it wouldn't bring $75k across the block with a bunch of millionaires sitting at Barret Jackson.

Yeah I tend to agree, that's pretty steep. Funny but that looks like a Dana 60 under there!

I'd trade them a 79 Mustang for it

In this economy, I doubt they get a third of that, and even if they did run across the B/J auction, by the time they paid the auction fees, they would be lucky to walk away with $50k. But it's America and you can ask what you want for what you have. Old addage, crap in one hand and want in the other and see which gets full first. I'd love to own it though.
