Thanks Guy's
I repect hard working people who are willing to help out other enthusiast. These guy's that offer up advice and opinions because they know what they are doing is admirable. Good solid info is hard to come by without some type of price, Yet these guys willingly give out info that most would give a left nut for and they do it because the love the sport and the people that are in it, I was told this was the site that everyone fom 460 came too so here I am,

Everytime you click on that site it ads to how much they can charge a Corporation. Most of the sites also have spybots that watch where you log into and what your preferences are so they can spam you with things they know you use. Since that company has taken over that site I know for a fact they have sold your email address as well.

Oh I won't curse on here I'm usually not like that, I am on a few forums and have never even been Negative Rep'd and have a good Rep to boot, I just had to vent over there about the corporate stuff that will happen. As for banning me No, They did lock that thread though LOL

Re: New here was on 460 for a minute
I don't wanna be the mom here, but posts like that over at the old 460 forum are going to do nothing but reflect negatively on Bruno's site and undermine all of his hard work. Furthermore, I can't think of many respectable engine/trans/chassis builders that would be interested in coming over here if it meant being associated with the foul, andi-chilly posts that have been made.
Come on guys, if we are going to make this work we have to make this place look GOOD, not bring it down.
Greg

History Lesson
Was bored, and decided to look at some of the oldest threads, to see what was there, and what has changed over the years. So are the two sites, jointly owned now, and how does Network 54 fit in? I assume it was the start of both sites? I to, like this site better for some reason than 460.com . The YellowBullit is entertaining, but a little off for my tastes also, but the Polictical Incorrectness, is one of their better points. Never heard of it until I saw it here a few times mentioned, and checked it out. One thing it does have is a faster pace. Not a member there, just watch the circus from a safe distance. Whoop's read a few more old threads, maybe I should not have asked. If I should edit or delete my question, yust say so, not looking for trouble, was just curious?

Re: New here was on 460 for a minute
If I remember correctly, this site began BECAUSE that other site got sold and it was "off-line" for a few days and NICK BRUNO did his best to give everyone a place to continue without that corporate oversight.
When it first started it was pretty vulgar here also and NICK did a pretty good job choosing moderators and cleaning that up to just a once in a while banter.

Re: New here was on 460 for a minute
Thanks for all the responses, was really surprised at the number of posts overnight. I have picked up alot of good info from both sites. If I ever want high end BBF I know where to find the top builders now, not the norrmal Chevy type shops. I only found these two forums for just 429,460 stuff, and the old Network 54 when I searched Google. I am rather suprised that more people don't race these engines , with all the good parts out there, and the power that can be made from stock parts? It would be nice to have a truck, street strip, section, with more budget minded builds. When I see a 385 series BBF at the local tracks, it is usually in an older P/U, than anything else. The full out race stuff is great, but not for everyone. I am kind of sick of the LS this and the LSX that in every vechicle under the sun, too. At least the big inch Windsor's are a strong contender, to the SBC's
