Magna Fuel Prostar seal
I am changing the leaky seals in my Prostar 500. The bottom o-ring is easy but how does one get to the upper shaft seal?
Thanks
Thanks

Take the rotor and vanes off, then remove the motor. Then just take a pick and pull the seal out. Push a new seal in the cavity and your good to go. Make sure the lower bearing on the armature spins freely, fuel hets up into it and it will rust and lock up. I may have a part number for the bearing if you need it.

motor off
Thanks,
Does the motor push out hard (the bearing from the main body)? The bearin is still in the lower
body and I am not sure how much press is on it, a few light taps?

Re: Magna Fuel Prostar seal
on mine the lower bearing was pressed on the armature shaft, they may not all be the same though.
