Opinion for driveline
This winter I'm installing a Mitchell gearsplitter behind the NP205. This is '77 F150 4x4 that is a street rod with some spray. The gearsplitter installs with a short shaft from the transfer case to the gear splitter and a new HD driveshaft from the gearsplitter to the rear axle. The rear axle has been done (axles, spool, HD case, 1310 yoke), now the questions come:
- Is the 1310 on the transfer case strong enough for continued abuse or would a 1350 be better (if so where is best to buy)?
- Leave the 1310 yoke or swap in a 1350 on the pumpkin?
Thanks for your time and help.

I would for sure go with the 1350 yoke on both ends. Check bronco graveyard's site they have pretty good deals on them.-A

I am a big fan of the 1350's. Another good source for yokes is Quick Performance. Brydon has treated me really good on all of the stuff I've bought from him over the years. BTW I've been putting over 1000hp and 850+tq through my joints and no failure.

Well it looks like an order for 3 1350s is next (spline output shaft on gearsplitter). Thank-you for your help.

Re: Opinion for driveline
Ordered the 1350 yoke for the transfer case, the short shaft now has 1350 yokes and picked up some solid spicer U-joints. Also got a 1350 slipe yoke for the splined output on the gear splitter. Now I need to wait until winter is over to get the truck out of storage, make a crossmember to hang the splitter from and then measure for my new driveshaft. Tick....................................................................................Tock.
