Confession
Forgive me Ford brothers and sisters for I have sinned! I purchased a mopar today . Although a hurricane katrina victim, $6500 for a complete 3600 mile viper I just couldn't pass it up I promise to not let this happen again

She was completely submerged. It'll be a frame off deal but a viper aint nothing but aluminum and fiberglass so it wont be too bad. It is a flip deal, winter project to make a dollar although with it sitting in the shop with the 557 sitting beside it has made those square wheels turn in my head

make sure you can title it in your state before you get too far along.i know some folks in TN that took a good one on some of those cars.most states have their ways of dealing with water cars and some wont title them.soupbean wrote:She was completely submerged. cool cars..but its been wet..no matter what you do, unless you replace every single wire and connector it will always have problems..will make a cool bracket car..

It'll be a frame off deal. Every nut and bolt will be removed, cleaned, and if cant be cleaned, replaced. That is if I can keep the 514 or the 557 out of it

You sould sale the drive train plus rear axle/suspension for quite a bit of money and make a BAD ASS Big Block Ford Powered Drag Car!

You would have to put some form of Boss 9 in it then you could tell people it has a real Hemi not one those crappy chrysler knock-offs.
