Alright, I made a trip to the machine shop yesterday and confirmed the heads. They are the A441 heads E2Z-M-6049-A441.

Some more progress. There is still quite a bit left to cut out. I can see how these cars receive a 5-star safety rating from the factory.

ALL those parts you cut out should be takin to a large body shop,$$$$$$

IMO Should have just done it with a 6 cylinder car.........damn shame to cut up a real Shelby.

But on the positive side, it should be pretty wild.

Once again, it's only a Ford Mustang that has Shelby's name on it because they bought the license to do so. They make several thousand of them each year. It's not like the 60's Shelby's that were actually converted by Shelby. Those cars are rare.

This post just took me through a gauntlet of emotions. I was all fired up reading your log and eating my lunch. Then I saw those pics of that cut to hell Shelby, my stomach just flipped and now I’m sick as hell!!!

On the other hand looking at those pics made me realize that all the mistakes I have made with my race mustang build is nothing compared to that Shelby being sliced and diced and hauled away like an old scarped out Chebbie!!

But I know we all will be smiling from ear to ear and proud that you are on our site when that bad boy is done but you will be forever known as “The guy who sliced and diced up a Shelby” LOL!
