Crossmember frame mount ? Empty Crossmember frame mount ?

Does anybody make the frame mounts that the foxbody double hump crossmember bolts too? Im workin on a buddys car and it was a 4 banger so the mounts are diffrent then the v8's wasent sure if they sell them or i gotta fab up some.

The part on the car? They are all the same. If you need more adjustment just cut the welds on the double hump member so the bushings slide this will give you more.

Or AJE has 4 options for transmission crossmembers, PG, TH400, C4, and AOD/T5. As was stated above, the sheetmetal mounts on the underside should all be the same.

You guys are right i had a brainfart going on Embarassed this mustang has crossmember mounts behind the regular ones thats what threw me off when i looked under there, i havent seen one like that before with two sets of crossmember mounts anyway thanks and Merry Christmas. santa

I believe that '79 and '80 had a narrower mount for the crossmember, at least my '79 does. With the narrower mount the crossmember can't be slid back(or forwards) at all.

Thats how my 89 Mustang was it came with a 4 cylinder and Automatic.The holes were closer to the front of the car for the V-8 crossmember.

Another option is a nice billet piece from crossmember.com. http://crossmembers.com/ It's adjustable! Also, at one time there was a stock one available without the tubes for the bushings welded in place.

Yea Mark this one was a 90 4 banger and Doug thanks for the info that is a sweet piece but we already have a new motorsport double hump crossmember,when i get it in place with the motor and trans dropped in then i'll tack weld the tubes in there spot.
